Review of Castagno - A Family-Friendly GetawayDuring our recent family vacation at Castagno, situated in the stunning Zugspitze area, we found an ideal base for exploration. Its prime location offered breathtaking mountain views, perfectly complementing our adventurous spirit. With skiing and hiking opportunities right on our doorstep, the region is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. The apartment, a beautifully renovated old farmhouse, boasted excellent kitchen facilities. We enjoyed cooking together, taking advantage of the versatile kitchen that even included a dishwasher-a pleasant surprise for me as I usually indulge in dinners while vacationing with my family. The children, ranging from toddlers to teens, found plenty to do. The ski slopes were close, and the welcoming atmosphere made it easy for everyone to feel at home. The spacious balcony adorned with flowers became a lovely spot for family gatherings after a day of fun. Castagno provided a warm, familial ambiance with a range of activities that kept us engaged throughout our stay. I highly recommend it to families seeking a creative experience tied closely to nature.
